Dear Church Family,
It is such an honor and privilege to be your new Pastor. I am very excited and can’t wait to see what God has in store for First Baptist Church of Runnelstown as we grow in Christ together. My hope and desire is to see our church grow into fully devoted followers of Jesus Christ with a passion to reach, teach, and minister to people in our community and the world abroad, to the glory of God. We must remember that our commission, as followers of Christ, is to reproduce ourselves and make disciples of all nations. Therefore, may we be busy doing what we were created and redeemed to do—make Jesus Christ known! May we follow the admonition of Paul in Colossians 4:5-6, which states, “Be wise in the way you act toward outsiders; make the most of every opportunity. Let your conversation be always full of grace, seasoned with salt, so that you may know how to answer everyone.” May we not waste the time God has graciously given us to make an impact on this dark and wicked world. Instead, may we shine the light of Jesus Christ and make a difference! Let’s go to work together and accomplish God’s will for First Baptist Church of Runnelstown. Please know that I love you and thank you for affording me the opportunity to serve you.
